This years’ activities to mark the International Anti-Corruption Week started in earnest in Makueni County where the national commemorations will be observed. Regional commemorations will be observed in West Pokot and Nyandarua counties.

In Makueni County, just like the counties that will host regional events, stakeholders in the fight against corruption organized various activities to create awareness on the Day and sensitized Kenyans on how to identify, prevent and fight corruption.

Some of the stakeholders that trained various publics include; NACCSC, EACC, KRA, Office of the Auditor General and ODPP.

In Makueni, the Deputy Governor Hon. Adelina Mwau flagged off a caravan to officially launch the anti-corruption week at Wote Bus Park. The caravan traversed sub counties with anti-corruption messages and creating awareness on the International Anti-Corruption Day to be held on Monday 9th December at Unoa Grounds.
