One of the topics NACCSC secretariat staff was taken through was social audit as a tool to fight corruption.
During the lecture, it was noted that social audits should lead people to ask questions on issues that affect their development. It was observed that findings of social audits must translate into positive action so as to create confidence.

The Attorney General Hon. Githu Muigai today inaugurated the National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committee which was recently reconstituted and members appointed by H.E the President vide Kenya Gazette Notice No 6707 of 19th September, 2014. Their mandate remains to undertake a nationwide public education, sensitization and awareness creation campaign aimed at effecting fundamental changes in the attitudes, behaviour, practices and culture of Kenyans towards corruption.
