National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committe (NACCSC) undertakes an anti-corruption media campaign through local FM radio stations and Tv stations, print and social media to reach millions of listeners. The aim of the campaign is to create awareness on corruption, its negative effects and actions that should be taken to fight and prevent the vice. NACCSC and partner institutions including; Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commision (EACC), Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Judiciary, Directorate of National Cohesion and Values, County Governments, Inter-Religious Council of Kenya (IRCK) and Transparency International – Kenya (TI-K), among others, are allocated prime air time on Radio and Tv stations to sensitize listeners to demand for accountability and transparency on the utilization of public resources.
The listeners participate through telephone calls, short text messages and social media posts to raise their views,comments and concerns of the vice, to which the guests provide appropriate responses and recommendations.
