NACCSC in the 3rd week of the Radio Campaign

The National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committee is in the 3rd week of the anti-corruption radio campaign that is being aired on Radio Taifa and Radio Ramogi from 8.00-9.00am.

Last week, the programmes featured Mr Patrick Owiny, Deputy Director, Ethics Compliance and Ms. Shallet Walongo, Education Officer, both from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission who discussed the ‘National Policy on Ethics and Anti-Corruption’ representing the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice.

This week, we have the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya featuring Bishop Dr. John Okinda, Presiding Bishop of PEFA church on Radio Ramogi on 3rd Nov and Bishop Dr John Warari from the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya on Radio Taifa on 4th Nov. They will discuss the ‘Role of the church in the fight against corruption’.

On 5th Nov, Mr Titus Ogalo from Transparency International- Kenya will facilitate a discussion on the ‘Role of the Public in the fight against Corruption’ on Radio Ramogi.

This is part of a series of the 12-week talk show programme that is sponsored by the GIZ under their Good Governance (GoGo) programme in support of the fight against corruption.

At the end of the Campaign, it is expected that millions of listeners in the targeted areas will be sensitized on how to prevent corruption in their daily activities.
