NACCSC kicks off an Anti-Corruption Radio Campaign

The National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committee (NACCSC) in partnership with GIZ under their Good Governance (GoGo) programme have rolled out a 12 week radio anti-corruption campaign programme on RMS Radio Ramogi and KBC Radio Taifa.

The Ag. Director at the NACCSC, Mr. David Gathii started off the campaign by facilitatating the first programme at the KBC Radio Taifa where he was hosted by Bonnie Musambi and Cynthia Anyango on the morning Zinga show programme. He discussed the Role of the Citizens in the fight against corruption.

The first programme on Radio Ramogi was transmitted on Thursday 22nd Oct on the Ramogi Baraza morning show programme hosted by Victor Juma. The facilitator was Mrs. Grace Jowi Jobita, Chairperson, Kisumu County Anti-Corruption Civilian Oversight Committee.

The first programme on each radio station was facilitated by NACCSC to set the tempo and kick start the three months campaign programme. Other stakeholders in the fight against corruption have been lined up to discuss various topics in the fight against corruption in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

They include: Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice, Inter Religious Council of Kenya, Transparency International- Kenya, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Judiciary among others.
